PPAR Receives TWO AWARDS

PPAR received the
Quarter Million Dollar Club for donating
over $250,000 to support affordable
housing. Past Chairman of
the Board, Wynne Palermo, CARHOF Chair
Barbara Asbury and CARHOF Vice-Chair Jim
Martin picked up the award.
Also awarded to PPAR
was the President's Soaring Eagle Award.
PPAR was recognized for philanthropic
causes to support cancer research,
anti-domestic violence, providing school
supplies to the needy throughout the
reiong, maintain DARE in schools, and
helping the police athletic league
(PAL). Partnership with
businesses, non-profit, and government
sectors to improve the quality of life
of the Pikes Peak Region.
Partnerships include strong involvement
with military community by supporting
Home Front Cares, Citizen Soldier
Project, Veterans Parade, Red, White and
Brave Parade for returning troops, and
the Volunteer REALTOR Program which
assists members of the military
transitioning to housing in the Pikes
Peak Region. Working to promote
sound public policy and defeating
detrimental initiatives (mostly in
coalitions of business, non-profit, and
government entities).
