The Colorado Secretary of State's office issued a
notice that an entity called "Corporate Controllers Unit" is
sending out deceptive letters to businesses, including real estate

12.10 OUT-OF-STATE INDIVIDUAL SOLICITATING MULTIPLE AGENTS
A PPAR member recently reported that she provided services to an
out-of-state individual for three months only to find out he had also
requested similar services from several other PPAR members. The
"Buyer" backed out of each transaction, some at the last minute causing
serious hassle to the "seller". The PPAR member who reported this
activity felt that the individual did not ever intend to make the
purchase.
